What makes the Xiaomi 18 Fold different: the mid-fold
Foldables have split into two camps. Book-style foldables open into a tall, narrow panel, while newer wide foldables open closer to a square but feel bulky when closed. Xiaomi’s mid-fold sits between them:
- Closed: a 5.38-inch cover screen at 1712 × 1168, roughly passport-sized and easy to use in one hand, in a body 83.6mm wide and 10.68mm thick.
