HUAWEI MateBook Fold Ultimate Design Price & Where to Buy It Worldwide: Specs, Configurations and Shipping (2026)

Quick answer

The new HUAWEI MateBook Fold Ultimate Design (model SLM-W24) is a laptop with no physical keyboard half: closed it is the size of a 13-inch notebook, opened out it becomes a single 18-inch dual-layer OLED at 3296 × 2472, just 7.3mm thin and 1.16kg. It runs the new Kirin X90 Plus on HarmonyOS 6.1, and this generation ships with the M-Pen 3 stylus and the Glide Keyboard included in the box. Three configurations are offered — 24GB+512GB, 24GB+1TB and 32GB+2TB — in Phantom Black, Skyline White and Glossy Gold, with current prices shown on the product page. It runs HarmonyOS, not Windows, which is the one thing to understand before ordering. We ship worldwide by express courier in 5–7 business days.

MateBook Fold Ultimate Design price: what you actually pay

Three configurations are available, and unlike most laptops the memory scales with the storage:

  • 24GB + 512GB — the entry configuration
  • 24GB + 1TB — same memory, double the storage
  • 32GB + 2TB — the top configuration, with more memory for heavy multi-window work on the 18-inch canvas

All three run the same Kirin X90 Plus, the same 18-inch foldable display and the same battery, and importantly all of them include the M-Pen 3 stylus and the Glide Keyboard — on the previous generation the keyboard was a separate purchase, so that is a real change in what you get for the money. Three colours are offered: Phantom Black, Skyline White and Glossy Gold. Current prices for each configuration are listed on the product page, and shipping is worldwide with tracking included.

What makes it different: one screen, three ways to work

There is no keyboard half. The entire machine is display, which means you can use it three ways:

  • Fully open as an 18-inch screen — a genuinely large canvas for multi-window work, drawing, reading or film, at 3296 × 2472 and 4:3
  • Half-folded like a laptop — the lower half becomes an on-screen keyboard, or you drop the magnetic Glide Keyboard on top of it for real key travel
  • Closed — a 13-inch, 14.9mm package that goes in a bag like any ultrabook

The display is dual-layer OLED behind UTG ultra-thin glass, running 700 nits typical and 1600 nits peak with a 2,000,000:1 contrast ratio in HDR, 1.07 billion colours, a 92% screen-to-body ratio and 10-point touch. It carries TÜV Rheinland Eye Comfort 3.0 certification, which matters on a screen you will be looking at up close for hours.

The stylus and keyboard are included

This generation adds M-Pen 3 stylus support, and Huawei includes the pen in the box along with a spare tip, tip clip and a sleeve. On an 18-inch touch canvas that changes what the machine is for — annotation, sketching and handwritten notes become first-class rather than an afterthought, and Huawei's own Notes and drawing apps are built around it.

The Glide Keyboard is also included, along with a premium storage bag, the 140W adapter and a cleaning cloth. It is a complete package out of the box, which is worth factoring in when comparing prices against machines where the keyboard and pen are extras.

It runs HarmonyOS, not Windows

This is the most important thing to understand before ordering. The MateBook Fold runs HarmonyOS 6.1, Huawei's own operating system. It is not Windows and it is not macOS, so Windows software does not install on it, and there is no Google Play Store.

What you get instead is a growing catalogue of HarmonyOS applications, Huawei's own suite — Notes, Gallery, Files, Calendar, cloud storage, the AppGallery — and anything that runs in a web browser. Interface and keyboard support English. The system is genuinely well matched to this hardware: the folding, dual-screen and multi-window behaviour works because HarmonyOS was built for it, and features like monitor mode, cross-device clipboard, keyboard and mouse sharing and screen mirroring with Huawei phones and tablets are native.

So the question is what your daily software looks like. If you work in a browser, in Huawei's ecosystem, or you want it primarily as a large-screen device for reading, drawing, media and multi-window work, it is superb and there is nothing else like it. If a specific Windows application is essential to your job, this is not the machine for that. Plenty of our customers buy it precisely as a second, large-screen device alongside a Windows or Mac laptop — it just helps to know what you are getting.

How to buy the MateBook Fold Ultimate Design outside China

Huawei launches its HarmonyOS computers in China first, and the previous MateBook Fold was not widely sold internationally through official channels — so for most buyers outside China, ordering from an exporter is the practical route.

We have been shipping Chinese flagships direct to customers worldwide since 2008, to the US, UK, Europe, the Gulf, Japan, South Korea, Singapore, Australia and 150+ countries, with full tracking via DHL, FedEx or UPS. Every device is 100% brand new and genuine, never refurbished.

FAQ

How much does the HUAWEI MateBook Fold Ultimate Design cost?

It comes in three configurations — 24GB+512GB, 24GB+1TB and 32GB+2TB — and all of them include the M-Pen 3 stylus and the Glide Keyboard in the box. Current prices for each configuration and colour are shown on the product page, and we ship worldwide with tracking included.

How big is the screen when folded?

Folded, each half of the display measures 13 inches diagonally at 2472 × 1648, so the closed machine is about the size of a 13-inch laptop at 288.5 × 193.7 × 14.9mm. Opened out, the two halves become a single 18-inch dual-layer OLED at 3296 × 2472.

Does the MateBook Fold run Windows?

No. It runs HarmonyOS 6.1, Huawei's own operating system, so Windows software does not install on it and there is no Google Play Store. Apps come from Huawei's AppGallery, Huawei supplies its own Notes, Files, Gallery and productivity tools, and anything that runs in a web browser works normally. The interface supports English.

Does it come with a keyboard and stylus?

Yes. Every configuration includes the HUAWEI Glide Keyboard and the HUAWEI M-Pen 3 stylus, along with a spare pen tip, tip clip, stylus sleeve, a premium storage bag, the 140W SuperCharge adapter and a screen cleaning cloth.

How thin and light is it?

Unfolded it is 7.3mm thin, and the machine weighs about 1.16kg without the keyboard, which adds a further 0.29kg. Folded it measures 14.9mm thick, so it takes up about as much bag space as a 13-inch ultrabook.

Where can I buy the MateBook Fold Ultimate Design outside China?

It is a China-market model, so it is not stocked by local retailers outside China. The usual route is to order it from an exporter that ships internationally. We ship worldwide by express courier with full tracking, typically 5–7 business days, and every device is brand new and genuine.
