In our early years we opened and tested every single device we sent out, because back then factory defects did occur - but we haven't had a device arrive faulty in many years now, so it really isn't something to worry about. In the unlikely event it did, you'd simply send it back and we'd ship you a new one. And if it turns out to be a software issue, an update usually fixes it - we'll walk you through it remotely.

Can you get the white one with the 2 TB SSD? If not, when do you think you will be able to?
I do not care for black or gold. Wish they made a red one like they used to. Will they later add a blue or red. I would be willing to wait if they will make a blue or red one. White is boring. Black is ugly and you can not see it when in a bag down low. Black is always hard to find. gold is depressing . I wnat a 2 TB SSD.

Unfortunately, Huawei does not produce a white version with the 2TB SSD.
As for a red or blue model, we haven’t received any information that they plan to release one. In the past, the red version of the first generation came out some time after the other colors were already available. If they do decide to make a red or blue version later, it would likely take a while.
