Which version do you need?

  • Network cable already in the walls — newer build, or a home that was wired during renovation. Choose Ethernet. A wired backhaul is always the fastest and most stable option, and the satellites draw power from the same cable.

This matters more than any speed figure, because the thing that ruins whole-home Wi-Fi is almost never the peak speed of the router. It is the backhaul — the link between the main unit and the satellites. A conventional mesh system sends that link over the air, and every wall it crosses cuts it roughly in half.
