Honor has confirmed that the Magic9 series launches in September 2026. Complete specifications, configurations and pricing are expected at the launch event. The exact date has not been published.
Honor CEO Li Jian announced the Magic9 series during the global launch event for the Honor Robot Phone, confirming a September release and opening reservations the same day. The presentation gave the first look at the design: a large circular rear camera module carrying an ARRI co-branded logo. Honor Mall opened a Β₯9.9 reservation benefit at 20:30 the same evening.
Coverage of the announcement indicates the Magic9 series builds on the Robot Phone with a fuller ARRI implementation β ARRI LogC3, ARRI Look and an ARRI cinema mode β plus Honor's self-developed H1 image chip and dual 200MP large-sensor cameras. The lens arrangement is said to be inspired by classic ARRI cinema cameras, with ARRI branding printed on the body; reports describe this as the first time ARRI has allowed its logo on a consumer device. None of this is confirmed until launch.
Reports point to the Snapdragon 8 Elite Gen 6 Pro platform, built on TSMC's 2nm N2P process. Honor has not named the processor.
Leaks indicate the Magic9 series drops curved displays entirely for 2.5D flat panels with large rounded corners, offered in roughly 6.36-inch and 6.85-inch sizes. The panels are said to be new-generation LTPO OLED with 120Hz adaptive refresh, around 3000 nits peak brightness and 4320Hz high-frequency PWM dimming.
The Magic9 series is expected to carry a further-upgraded YOYO assistant, and reports suggest it may be the first flagship to ship with Honor's full Agentic OS.
For reference, the previous generation Honor Magic8 launched in China in October 2025 from Β₯4,499, with the Magic8 Pro from Β₯5,699. Magic9 pricing has not been announced and we will update this page the moment Honor confirms it.
