Does the OPPO Find X9 Ultra Work on Your Carrier? Global 5G/4G Band Guide (2026)
The China-version OPPO Find X9 Ultra (model PMA110) is a global-band flagship. It runs 4G LTE + sub-6 5G across Europe, the Middle East, Japan and Canada, and works on AT&T and T-Mobile in the US. The catch: it lacks 600 MHz (B71/n71) for T-Mobile's deep rural coverage, and it has no Band 13, so Verizon is the weakest fit. Sub-6 only — no mmWave.
The bands the Find X9 Ultra supports
- 2G GSM: 850 / 900 / 1800 MHz
- 3G WCDMA: B1 / B2 / B4 / B5 / B6 / B8 / B19
- 4G LTE FDD: B1 / B2 / B3 / B4 / B5 / B7 / B8 / B12 / B17 / B18 / B19 / B20 / B25 / B26 / B28 / B66
- 4G LTE TDD: B34 / B38 / B39 / B40 / B41 / B42 / B43 / B48
- 5G NR: n1 / n2 / n3 / n5 / n7 / n8 / n12 / n18 / n20 / n25 / n26 / n28 / n38 / n40 / n41 / n48 / n66 / n77 / n78 / n79 / n80 / n81 / n83 / n84 / n89
- No mmWave (sub-6 GHz 5G only)
Carrier compatibility
| Region / Carrier | Find X9 Ultra | What to expect |
|---|---|---|
| US — AT&T | Full | Full 4G LTE + 5G (low-band n5, C-band n77). No mmWave. Works well. |
| US — T-Mobile | No 600 MHz | Fast 5G via n41 and solid 4G in towns/cities. Lacks 600 MHz (B71/n71), so rural/fringe coverage is weaker. |
| US — Verizon | No Band 13 | Weakest fit — missing Verizon's main low-band. Usable mainly in strong-signal/urban areas; confirm activation with Verizon first. |
| Canada (Rogers / Bell / Telus) | Works | Full 4G + sub-6 5G. Band 13 not supported, but B12/B17 cover most 700 MHz needs. |
| UK / Europe (EE, Vodafone, O2, Deutsche Telekom, Orange…) | Excellent | Full 4G + 5G (n78 3.5 GHz). Ideal for the UK and EU. |
| Middle East (Etisalat, du, STC, Mobily, Zain) | Excellent | Full 4G + 5G. |
| Japan — NTT Docomo | Strong | Includes Docomo's B19 (800 MHz) and n79 5G — often missing on imported phones. |
| Japan — au / SoftBank | Works | Includes B18/B26 for au. |
The phone is sub-6 5G only. mmWave 5G is rare and short-range, so this affects almost no one in day-to-day use.
What this means for you
Great fit: AT&T (US), and any major carrier in the UK, EU, Middle East, Canada, or Japan. You'll get full 4G LTE and sub-6 5G.
Good, with one caveat — T-Mobile: You get T-Mobile's fast n41 mid-band 5G and strong 4G in populated areas. Because the phone lacks 600 MHz (B71/n71), expect weaker signal in remote/rural spots.
Think twice — Verizon: Without Band 13, coverage is limited to stronger-signal areas, and Verizon can be strict about activating non-Verizon devices. Check with Verizon first — ask whether a phone with the bands listed above (note: no Band 13 / 700 MHz) can be activated and used normally on your line.

FAQ
Will Google Play work out of the box?
Google Mobile Services (GMS) are pre-installed from the factory. The Google Play Store itself is quick and easy to install yourself once the phone arrives.
Is the phone unlocked?
Yes — it's an unlocked China-edition device. Whether it works on your carrier depends on the supported bands above.
Does 5G work in the US?
Yes on AT&T (n5 and C-band n77) and T-Mobile (n41 mid-band). On Verizon, 5G is limited to C-band and low-band coverage is reduced.
Will calls work (VoLTE)?
Yes — the phone supports VoLTE. Since many carriers have retired their 3G networks, VoLTE needs to be enabled for calls. It works on the major networks above; if you're on a smaller MVNO, confirm VoLTE support with your carrier.
Is the warranty valid where I live?
Yes. If anything goes wrong with your device, send it back to us and we'll take it to the manufacturer's service center for warranty repair.
How long does shipping take, and is it tracked?
Express (DHL/FedEx/UPS), 5–7 business days, fully tracked.
