Three 200MP cameras: why that is unusual

ProXDR and 17EV: what OPPO has actually confirmed

On 28 August, OPPO Chief Product Officer Pete Lau announced a new generation of ProXDR and named the Find X10 series as its world debut.

OPPO's claim is 17EV in a single frame, no stacking. The technology underneath is DeepPix, a new high-dynamic sensor technology, and OPPO says it has upgraded the whole chain around it — capture, processing and display. The display half is what ProXDR has always meant: showing the full dynamic range on the phone's own screen instead of flattening it. On the video side, OPPO quotes full-size 4K HDR capture.

Put the two together and the picture is coherent: three very high-resolution sensors, all fed through a pipeline built to keep highlight and shadow detail in one shot.

8000mAh, and a five-year promise

OPPO has confirmed an 8000mAh silicon-carbon battery for both the Find X10 and the Pro Max — well beyond the 5000 to 6000mAh most flagships carry. Silicon-carbon chemistry packs more energy into the same space, which is how capacity has grown without phones getting thicker.

The more interesting claim is durability: OPPO states the battery is designed to retain its capacity for up to five years. Degradation is the reason most phones feel old before they are — a two-year-old phone needing a charge by mid-afternoon is a battery problem, not a performance one. Silicon-carbon has faced questions about longevity specifically, so a five-year figure on the record is a direct answer.

• Find X10 — reported at 6.59 inches with a 0.99mm bezel, OPPO's narrowest ever, and still a dual 200MP system with a large-sensor periscope telephoto
• Find X10E — newly revealed and the least detailed. The E suffix in OPPO's line-up usually indicates a slightly more accessible tier, but no specifications have surfaced

Worth knowing if you are weighing up whether to wait: the Find X10 Ultra is not launching this year. OPPO's Find series lead has stated it will not arrive in 2026, with reports pointing to spring 2027. If the Ultra was what you were holding out for, the Pro Max is this year's top model.
